DETAILS
This is the follow up single
to 'Contact' by the Isle Of Man's Steve McGrath. The original
is a subtle and dark John Digweed styled monster of a track.
This is backed up by a vocoded-vocalled progressive breaks
mix by Hellpass, and a dark and twisted, drugged out mix by
the good man Smight! Promos in circulation late February for
an April release.
DETAILS
The first
Hellpass release of Hellpass Records for quite a while now,
and well worth the wait! 'Deus Ex Machina' is a percussive,
rolling progressive monster which has got the official thumbs-up
from Nick Warren and Satoshi Tomiie. The flip-side, 'A Life
In The Day', is a housified, quirky electro number that has
been spun by the likes of Cass and Danny Howells. In The Shops

'Network' was the first release sporting the new logo and
sleeve design for the label, designed by Blueinc in Liverpool.
The main mix of this track was a favourite at the time for
Anthony Pappa and the dub for Chris Fortier. 'Network' was
quite distinctive in it's style and the hybrid of house and
progressive opened the label up to a new audience for the
first time.
DETAILS
After the original 'version one' of this track was mailed
out on CD it led to a call from John Digweed who put a few
ideas in on how to improve the track, the resulting 'version
two' was played on his Kiss show. 'Phase One' had created
the biggest buzz surrounding it out of all the releases so
far and is also the favourite release on the label personally
by Hellpass.
DETAILS
This track was written for Gaena, a friend of Hellpass who
is a fan of Oliver Lieb. Again there were no plans to release
'Special' but 'version one' was so well received that 'version
two' was structured and a release scheduled. 'Special' was
big for Chris Fortier amongst other people and was also one
of the fastest selling 12"s Hellpass records.
DETAILS
With support from Marcus James, 'Jammer' was a huge track
at Renaissance and 'Distracted' was big for Liam Kennedy who
described it as 'twisted and psychotic'. This record was the
best received Hellpass 12" stateside and led to Hellpass signing
as an artist to Renaissance.

Written and produced by Andrew Byrne and Mick Dalton.

This dark and building underground track has been the biggest
track on Hellpass. Again with big support from Dave Seaman
off acetate sales of this record are still trickling through
at Unique. 'Reviver' was requested for licensing to the Ministry
Of Sound's 'Clubbers Guide To Summer' compilation.
DETAILS
Originally never even scheduled for a release, the licensing
of 'Burner' to Dave Seaman's 'Awakenings' album on Renaissance
led to the inception of the label. The tech dub gave the track
a more underground edge and rocked Cream when Lee Burridge
gave it the official first play. 1000 copies of this record
were pressed and they all sold in the first week of sale.
